Candle Magic

All our spells are written by Amanda. Each candle comes individually sealed in it's own packet with a header card. We can print your business name on the cards if required.

Since she could remember Amanda has been interested in what is beyond our world and our senses. After studying and training in eastern philosophy for many years she turned her attention to the magic of paganism and witchcraft.

Her interest in the feminine and the power of language formed the basis of her doctoral studies and she combines that with her knowledge of spirituality both east and west. After running The Magic SpellBox Company for three years Amanda moved to writing, teaching and personal consultations in 2004. She is a dynamic and inspirational writer and speaker and has written for UK national MBS magazines and newspapers for many years. In 2007 she appeared on BBC1 'Ever wondered about food' and has also spoken on radio.

Her personal philosophy comes from a life long study of esoteric and magical wisdom. Believing that we all have the power to change our lives and the key to this is self-awareness and self-responsibility. Using magic and the power of words in spell craft is one way of changing our lives. She has little time for organised religious structures and is convinced that only through self-empowerment can we be truly of service to the world.

Her latest work on moon mediations is a natural progression through her journeys through the realms of spirit, magic and the power of the word to transform our lives.

This spell is for winter solstice and should be done on the actual day of the solstice. If you can try and do it on the eve of the 21st even better! A white candle symbolises the increasing hours of light that will grow until midsummer solstice and the new ideas that you can now bring forth and begin to tend.
